In celebration of the dearly beloved alma mater making the 2022 Men’s Final Four in New Orleans, I have converted this VHS tape that I bought at an antique store into a digital format and I’ve uploaded it to YouTube.

This is a fascinating video, produced by Kansas Athletics in 1986, it features interviews with a number of athletes from the history of the University of Kansas, dating back to the early 1900s. The film is about 88 minutes in length, and I think it’s quite interesting, particularly the part about how World War II affected the football and basketball teams, and the discussion of Wilt Chamberlain.

Here’s hoping the Hawks march on to the championship next weekend!
